What happens if i dont get treated?
What happens if i dont get treated?
Depending on the location and type of herniation or bulge a patient may experience pain for the rest of their life, but sometimes it can resolve on its own in a few months. Believe it or not if the herniation is an extruded disc herniation (click for more info), the herniation can resolve itself by breaking down the separated disc material and resolving the pain. This does not mean that treatment is not necessary because if not treated correctly through chiropractic care the ligaments that were damaged during the herniation can remain damaged and heal improperly causing further complications in the future
